Getting started
Momentum is where you run your club or league — fixtures, results, teams, payments and the pages your members and the public see. This guide gets you signed in and oriented; the rest of the guides cover each job in detail.
Signing in
- Go to momentumsportstechnology.com and select Log in.
- Enter your email and password. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, you'll be asked for your code next.
- You'll land on your dashboard.
If you can't remember your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page. If you don't have an account yet, an organiser or administrator needs to invite you — see Users & permissions.
Opening the admin area
If you manage a club or league, you'll see an Admin button in the top navigation bar. Select it to open the admin area (the web address is /admin).
Only organisers see this button — coaches, players and parents won't, so there's nothing to worry about if a member mentions they can't find it. What they see instead is covered in What your members see.
Finding your way around
The admin area has three parts:
- The sidebar (left) — your main menu, grouped into sections: your competitions, teams and people, money, communications, and system settings.
- The top bar — a search box for jumping straight to a team, league, tournament or venue; the help and notification icons; and your account menu.
- The main panel — whatever you've selected from the sidebar.
At the top of the sidebar you'll find your organisation's name. If you help run more than one organisation, select it to switch between them — everything in the admin area then applies to the organisation you've chosen.
Two views: Org admin and System
Just under the Momentum logo there's a switch between Org admin and System.
- Org admin is where you'll spend your time — everything to do with your club or league.
- System only appears for platform administrators and covers cross-organisation settings. If you don't see it, you don't need it.
Light and dark
Use the light/dark toggle in the top bar to switch the look. Your choice is remembered on your device.

Good to know
- Nothing you do is hidden from your members after the fact — results and standings update the public pages automatically. See Public results pages.
- The old screens are still available during the changeover, and your data is exactly the same in both. If something looks different from last time, it's the new design, not a change to your league.
